DS Lite – The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian

Back to Narnia We Go

As a child, I loved C.S. Lewis’ Chronicles of Narnia series of novels. From The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe to The Last Battle, these fantasy stories both intrigued and amused me no end. Not so when I was an adult, for I failed to derive enjoyment from the first Narnia movie.

nds-prince-of-caspian When I heard that The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian NDS game will be released in the Nintendo DS platform, I couldn’t be bothered to get it at first. But after being beseeched by my brother who is a bigger Narnia fan that I am, I pre-ordered it at my favorite online game store. I quickly found out that Prince Caspian is not really a bad game after all. This is an RPG of sorts, one that allows you take on the role of 18 varying characters. The game begins, and you play as the courageous Prince Caspian who finds quite a hard time fleeing from his less-than-angelic Uncle Miraz who seeks to kill the Prince just so his own heir can take over the Narnian throne. Together with an assortment of characters including the original Pevensie kids, a valiant mouse called Reepicheep and the ever memorable lion, Aslan, Caspian began his journey to reclaim the throne.

Grand Theft Auto IV for Nintendo DS Lite

Posted on May 18, 2008 07:18:41 PM

The entire world was sent into a gaming frenzy when Grand Theft Auto IV was released last April 29 on the XBOX 360 and Playstation 3. But what truly made the gaming population turn topsy turvy was the fact that an obscure French gaming retailer apparently revealed that GTA IV will be coming to the Nintendo DS platform in June, some couple of months after the initial third gen release.

Mario Kart DS

Posted on May 17, 2008 07:07:46 PM

I am a shameless Mario fan and everyone knows it based on the amount of money I’ve spent on merchandise featuring the roly poly and mustachioed Italian plumber along with his lanky sibling. Naturally, one cannot be a fan of the Mario Brothers if he or she does not favor the Nintendo gaming consoles too. Growing up, I collected and played on various Nintendo consoles, from the trusty SNES and the entertaining GameCube to my most recent acquisition, a Polar White DS Lite.
