Fans of Nintendo Wii would have a field day if they don’t see their favorite plumber in a new Wii platform game. Nintendo complies with their requests and gave them Super Mario Galaxy, a Wii-exclusive title that features the Italian brothers in a 3D environment. This time, instead of jumping into secret underground pipes and galloping high up in the blue skies, Mario finds himself in space to save none other than the delectable Princess Peach from his long time arch rival, Bowser. Fans like me will definitely love the new power-ups and thrilling gravity effects.
Control-wise, the Wiimote and Nunchuk can be utilized to perform a variety of wall jumps, long jumps and gravity defying somersaults. The Star Pointer is your on-screen guide that lets you pick up Star Bits which can be forcefully projected to stun enemies and manipulate items. Tired of playing alone? You can pit yourself against your friends and family in the Co-Star Mode where both you and the secondary player control your respective Star Pointers to see who can take down the most enemies.
If you find it amusing to see all in-game coconuts become watermelons in a flash, you basically need to find time and collect 9999 star bits in the hub. To unlock the death count feature and see how many times you have perished while playing Super Mario Galaxy, you need to collect 120 Stars from the Grand Finale Galaxy. Disappointed that you can’t play the game using Luigi? Don’t be! Again, acquire 120 Stars, talk to Rosalina on the Comet Observatory and ask to duke it out with Bowser again. Upon completion, you’ll see a message pop up saying that you’ve now gained the ability to use Luigi as a playable character!
Super Mario Galaxy Grand Finale Galaxy and Star 121 for Mario and Luigi
To unlock the final star and galaxy, collect all 120 stars with Luigi and beat Bowser. Doing so unlocks the Grand Finale Galaxy, accessible from the green trial planet, which is the Star Festival seen in the beginning of the game. Collecting the 100 purple coins in this galaxy gets you the final star.

Get all 120 stars. Return to Rosalina on the Comet Observatory and request to fight Bowser again. Finish the credits and you will get a message saying that Luigi is now playable.

Starting Boost When Racing Cosmic Mario
When the countdown timer starts as you are racing Cosmic Mario, hold forward, then as it hits 2, hold down on Z to crouch, and when the race starts hit A right away and you will turn yellow for a few seconds and get a really good boost that will put you way ahead of Cosmic Mario.
