PSP Game God of War: Chains of Olympus – Kratos Restores Light to the PSP
The God of War is a firm favorite among fans who love hack-and-slash games and is famous for its gruesome death scenes. It was released in the PS2 platform years ago and due to the endless requests and support from fans, Sony Computer Entertainment saw it fit to bring the game to the PSP and thus God of War: Chain of Olympus was born.
This is a prequel of sorts where the story begins a decade before its predecessor. Kratos is sent to the ancient city of Attica where he must defend it from the vicious Persian army (think Xerxes’ henchmen in the movie “300”) with his trusty Blades of Chaos and his trademark Gauntlet of Zeus. Kratos succeeded in his mission but misfortune fell when he saw the sun disappearing from the sky, blanketing the world in a sheet of stark darkness. He then encounters a myriad of mythical characters in his quest to restore the sun but in the process, many revelations were revealed including situations pertaining to betrayal, sacrifice and redemption.
